My First Exhibition - Florentin
The artist’s first exhibition captures a pivotal moment of intertwined creation and birth. In 2007, a series of works was presented on the walls of a bar-restaurant in the Florentin neighborhood of Tel Aviv, created during the artist’s third pregnancy a period in which inspiration and creative energy flowed continuously.
The choice of Florentin as an exhibition space was intentional. With its bohemian and urban texture, the neighborhood provided a dynamic cultural context for the colorful and optimistic works. The walls, transformed into an improvised gallery, created a spontaneous encounter between the art and Tel Aviv’s hipster audience.
The opening night unfolded naturally, accompanied by music, wine, and artistic dialogue that emerged organically among the works themselves. Visitors moved through the space in fluid motion, engaging with the pieces that embodied the fertile tension between physical creation and artistic expression. Defined by a rich color palette and an optimistic approach to life, the works resonated immediately every piece was acquired during the exhibition, a testament to the genuine connection formed between the artworks and their viewers.
A gallery talk led by the artist added an intimate layer to the experience, offering insight into the creative process and transforming the exhibition into an active exchange between the personal and the public, between the creating body and the artwork itself.
This exhibition marks a beginning a moment in which two births, biological and artistic, became woven into a single narrative of becoming.
